article, the US Army is offering civilian employees more training and education than in the past. Army Civilian University is a year-old product of necessity where these civilians can recieve the training and education they need. The responsibilities of the civilian workforce employed by the Army have changed in recent years due to the wars in Iraq and Afganistan. The deployment of troops has created vacancies that are being filled by civilians who require specific training and education to successfully fill those roles. Change demands training.
